From laying the foundations for a bug garden, to coming up with an entirely new fund raising event, being part of the Ashbrooke PTA is a great way to support the school and meet other parents.
We organise events throughout the year to raise money for the school, which is then used for treats and extras for the children. Examples over the last couple of years have included the play equipment in the school grounds, large garden planters for each year group to grow plants and a bug corner for the children to learn about garden wildlife.
Alongside raising funds, our aim is to organize events that are fun for the schools children and families. We have an annual summer fete, school disco and talent show, and carols by candle light service. Other events have included a treasure hunt, bingo night and sale of gift items for mother’s and father’s day.
